A 21-year-old Fort St. James man accused with the murder of three women and one teenage girl appeared in Supreme Court Chambers in Prince George on November 9.

Cody Alan Legebokoff was initially charged with the first degree murder of 15-year-old NVSS student Loren Donn Leslie after her body was discovered Saturday, November 27, 2010 off an unused logging road between Vanderhoof and Fort St. James.

Legebokoff was arrested later that night.

The three latest murder charges relate to the unsolved Prince George murder cases of Jill Stacey Stuchenko, 35, Cynthia Frances Maas, 35 and Natasha Lynn Montgomery, 23.

B.C. Supreme Court Justice Glen Parrett has issued a publication ban on anything that is not presented before a jury.

The Crown has confirmed that Legebokoff’s case will go straight to trial, without a preliminary hearing.

Legebokoff will be represented by Jim Heller and Jeremy Fung.

His next court appearance is scheduled for December 5.
