Public’s help requested in locating Kelowna woman

Kelowna Mounties are seeking the public's assistance in locating a 64 year old Kelowna woman who was reported missing earlier today.

Kelowna Mounties are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 64 year old Kelowna woman who was reported missing earlier today.

Just before 8 am, Wednesday, the Kelowna RCMP received a report of a missing person from a home on the 2600 block of Richter Street.

“Valerie Hunter apparently left the home the previous evening at 8 pm and failed to return,” said Const. Kris Clark.

“Hunter suffers from an undisclosed condition and may be non-communicative.”

She has a recent history of going missing and was previously located by family members.

  • Caucasian woman
  • five-foot-six with a thin build
  • Shoulder length grey hair which is usually worn in a bun
  • Last seen wearing a green jacket and black toque
  • Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Valerie HUNTER is asked to call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
