Justin Kitzman has a knack for being on the right road at the right time.
The Action Concrete Pumping employee was returning from a job along Westside Road Wednesday afternoon when he noticed a brush fire off the roadway.
Kitzman got the vehicle into position and used the pump truck to help douse the fire, much to the gratitude of nearby residents.
It’s the second year in a row Kitzman helped put out a grass fire. The same thing happened in 2016, in the same month (July), when he helped put out a fire he spotted as he drove along East Vernon Road.
