Quad, dirt bike stolen

Thieves cut chain and lock on barn door and now the wheels are gone

Police are looking for clues into who was responsible for a theft from a barn in Errington this week.

Oceanside RCMP Corporal Jesse Foreman said the incident took place sometime overnight on May 28, when unidentified culprits cut the chain and the padlock from the door of a barn located on Matterson Road.

Once inside, the culprits made off with a Kawasaki dirt bike and a Kawasaki quad. Foreman said a large truck was likely used to transport the vehicles out of the area.

Foreman said there were no witnesses to the incident and police currently have no suspects.
