The Saanich Fire department is investigating a fire that tore through an accessory building at Glendale Gardens near Quayle and Beaver roads in the early morning hours of Feb. 16.
Ten firefighters responded to the 2:25 a.m. blaze and stayed on the scene or five hours containing the fire. A large, multi-use agricultural building housing a green house, storage and work room was destroyed.
No one was injured in the fire.
There is no estimate of damages to the building and investigators haven’t determined how the fire started.
