Bus schedules in Quesnel will change starting Sept. 4, BC Transit said in a news release Aug. 23.
The changes in service are due to alterations made to accommodate the new location of Quesnel Junior School in Maple Drive, and to better align the transit schedule to new school bell times. Bell times are changing due to the new two-week spring break, which is being trialled for the next two years. The longer spring break will add eight minutes to each school day to make up for time lost during the extended break.
Changes will be to two Quesnel transit routes: route 1 West Quesnel, and route 2 Red Bluff.
