Aside from someone trying to remove a scissor lift from the grounds, it was a pretty quiet time for RCMP officers at the 114th annual Interior Provincial Exhibition in Armstrong.

“We did have a report of somebody trying to take a scissor lift down the road and out of the grounds at one point,” said RCMP spokesperson Gord Molendyk.

“Somebody also tried to remove a bike. There were a few thefts and attempted thefts reported from the grounds over the five days of the fair.”

Several fair-goers also spent time in RCMP cells for being intoxicated.

We had extra officers working and for the most part everyone was well behaved,” said Molendyk.
