Rains cause mudslide on Hwy 33

The debris washed down from the north slope and is partially blocking the turnoff.

Heavy rains have caused a small mudslide on Highway 33 at the McKenzie Road turnoff. The debris washed down from the north slope and is partially blocking the turnoff.

City works crews have responded and will be clearing the roadway and motorists are asked to be aware of the debris and the machinery that will be working on the roadway, said Const. Steve Holmes, in a press release.
