Ladysmith Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue Unit 29 station leader Nick Epp-Evans received a $1,000 cheque from an RBC employee following RBC's annual 'work day' May 5. Five bank employees volunteered to replumb the unit's boatshed, erect a flag pole and carry out various other maintenance work. RBC’s generous donation went toward the purchase of a new rescue vessel.
