Mounties are asking for the public’s help with their investigation into the activities of an Osoyoos man accused of using a computer for child luring.
Shaun David Randall, 29, has also been charged with possessing child pornography and making explicit material available to a child, according to a press release from the Osoyoos RCMP.
He appeared in provincial court in Penticton on Dec. 1 and was subsequently released on bail with numerous conditions, including having no contact with anyone under 16, staying away from public places where children are present and not accessing the Internet.
Osoyoos RCMP Cpl. Jason Bayda said in the release that a publication ban prevents Mounties from sharing details about the allegations against Randall, but that police would still like to speak to anyone with additional information about the investigation by calling the detachment or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
Randall’s next court appearance is set for Dec. 17 in Penticton.
