Two men were arrested after the RCMP recovered a stolen trailer at campground near Revelstoke on Saturday.
“We had information reported to us about a trailer being stolen,” said Staff-Sgt. Kurt Grabinsky. “We were able to locate the trailer and the subjects who were in possession of it. They were charged with possession of stolen property and have a court date upcoming.”
He said the trailer was stolen a few weeks ago from Alberta.
“We get notifications of stolen vehicles and when we see those we patrol areas to find them,” said Grabinsky. “For stolen campers we’ll often go to trailer parks or campgrounds.”
