Two Quesnel men are facing criminal charges after a serious assault which occurred in the 300 block of Lewis Drive during the early morning hours of Oct. 22.

Quesnel RCMP received information that a 37-year-old male had suffered significant injuries including a fractured skull after being assaulted at a residence in the 300 block of  Lewis Drive.

Following an investigation which included the execution of a Search Warrant at the residence, Quesnel RCMP determined that the victim knew his assailants and this was not a random act of violence rather a targeted assault.

20-year-old Robert David Dunlop has been arrested and faces one count of Assault Causing Bodily Harm.

He appeared in Quesnel Provincial Court on Oct. 25 and will be released on conditions awaiting trial. An Unendorsed Warrant of Arrest has been issued for 21-year-old Chad Michael Tresierra for Assault Causing Bodily Harm.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Chad Tresierra is asked to contact the Quesnel RCMP immediately.
