Police are searching for 3 suspects allegedly involved in an early morning armed robbery in West Kelowna.
On June 20, 2016 at 3:13 am, the West Kelowna RCMP received a report of a robbery that had just occurred in the area of Old Okanagan Highway and Apollo Road. Following the attack, the victim attended the West Kelowna RCMP Detachment to report the incident to police.
Police have learned that the victim was confronted by the three unknown male suspects, one of whom was in possession of a knife. The victim was punched by one of the suspects at which time he turned over several electronic devices including his cellular phone to the suspects who fled the area south on Apollo Road. The victim sustained minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing at this time and police are seeking information from the public to help identify the suspects involved.
Suspect one has been described to investigators as:
• First Nations male;
• In his early 20’s;
• Slim build;
• 5’6 tall;
• Wearing a black baseball cap, a red bandana, and a red, black and white jacket;
Suspect two has been described to investigators as:
• First Nations male;
• In his 30’s;
• Skinny;
• 5’6 to 5’8 tall;
• With a thin mustache;
• With slicked black hair;
Suspect three has been described to investigators as:
• First Nations male;
• 17 to 20 years of age;
• 160 lbs;
• 5’11 to 6’0 tall;
