June 22

12:34 a.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported on the 2400 block of Kootenay Street North.

2:22 a.m. Police investigated an abandoned 911 call which turned out as a domestic dispute. Police determined an assault had occurred. A male was arrested for assault and lodged in a cell. He was released on a promise to appear for a future court date.

9:02 a.m. Police received a report of a male lying on the sidewalk on the 1000 block of 16th Avenue South. The male was located and was walking. Police determined he was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs and was free to go.

9:22 a.m. A possible impaired driver was called in. The caller said the person was smoking marijuana and driving erratic.

9:29 a.m. A blue Chrysler minivan with Alberta plates was reported passing on a double solid and driving at high speeds.

9:45 a.m. Report of a theft of vehicle and a trailer sometime overnight in the 300 block of 8th Avenue South.

11:38 a.m. A local bus driver reported that a vehi

11:49 a.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported on the 1600 block of Willowbrook Drive.

12:42 p.m. Calgary city police requested assistance in a motor vehicle accident investigation.

1:21 p.m. Report of an abandoned 911 call. Police attended the residence and discovered it was the result of a prior domestic dispute situation and there was a breach of court order taking place.

5:45 p.m. Report of an intoxicated female on the 1400 block of 2nd Street North.

6:46 p.m. A single vehicle rollover was reported near Wardner on the Wardner-Fort Steele Road. Two of the passengers were taken to hospital with minor injuries. The driver was charged with failure to keep right and with having too many passengers as a new driver.

8:52 p.m. A disturbance was reported at a local grocery store.

9:20 p.m. A caller reported that a youth hadn’t returned home. The youth was located.

10:03 p.m. A large open pit fire was reported.

11:22 p.m. A potentially suicidal female was reported. Police attended and spoke to the female who agreed to go to the hospital for further health assessment.

June 23

12:01 a.m. A report of youths gaining access and going through the complainants vehicle located on Addison Crescent. The youths ran off when the complainant made themselves known and a police patrol could not locate them. Nothing was reported stolen.

1:20 a.m. Loud yelling was heard coming from a local elementary school yard.

8:31 a.m. A two vehicle accident was reported on Baker Street and Cranbrook Street. No injuries were reported.

9:20 a.m. A possible impaired driver was seen leaving a service station, heading eastbound on the highway. Elk Valley RCMP were notified.

10:35 a.m. Threats were reported between ex-spouses.

11:09 a.m. An abandoned 911 call. Police attended and found there were no problems.

11:20 a.m. A possible man down was reported in front of a local grocery store. Police attended and located the individual, who was sitting up and conscious, with no apparent issue.

11:45 a.m. A loud verbal argument was reported on the 1900 block of 2nd Street North.

12:08 p.m. A two vehicle accident was reported. There were no injuries.

12:27 p.m. Report of threats. Police said it appears it is an ongoing issue between two individuals for the passed several months.

12:46 p.m. A lost licence plate decal was reported.

1:12 p.m. A fight was reported near a business on Baker Street. The female was arrested for assault, while the male was arrested for breach of court ordered conditions.

3:09 p.m. BC Ambulance requested police assistance.

3:14 p.m. A disturbance was reported at a local government office.

4:50 p.m. A disturbance was reported on the 100 block of Cranbrook Street North.

5:45 p.m. An intoxicated male was seen on Theatre Road.

8:09 p.m. A caller reported that cattle were spotted on a rural road and were creating a potential traffic hazard.

8:42 p.m. Vandalism to a vehicle parked on the 2100 block of 2nd Street North was reported.

11:46 p.m. A noisy party was reported on Briar Avenue.

June 24

2:48 a.m. Report of an intoxicated male. The male was arrested for breach of court ordered condition. He was lodged in a cell until sober and released on a Promise to Appear.

10:33 a.m. Beaumont RCMP requested assistance in a threat investigation.

10:52 a.m. A two vehicle accident occurred. There were no injuries.

12:36 p.m. Comox RCMP requested a subpoena on a witness living in Cranbrook.

1:15 p.m. A local youth reported a text message they had received asking to send inappropriate pictures.

3:26 p.m. Police optioned a mental health apprehension warrant for a local individual.

6:51 p.m. Harrassment was reported between neighbours.

7:59 p.m. Kijiji fraud was reported on a rental property.

10:01 p.m. A possible impaired driver was called in. Police located the vehicle and found that the driver had not been consuming alcohol, but rather was distracted with sightseeing.

10:25 p.m. A fight was reported in Baker Park.

11:19 p.m. A disturbance was heard on the 300 block of Kootenay Street North.

June 25

12:40 a.m. An officer discovered an intoxicated person in the back alley behind the police station. Police arrested the individual and he was lodged in a cell. Police also found that the male had a warrant out for his arrest. He was released on a Promise to Appear.

10:13 a.m. Police executed a mental health apprehension warrant on a local individual.

10:52 a.m. Report of harassment.

11:32 a.m. Report of a lost wallet.

12:49 p.m. Report of an assault.

1:05 p.m. A caller reported a motorcycle speeding towards Cranbrook coming from Jaffray.

9:45 p.m. Harassment between ex-spouses was reported.

11:59 p.m. A suspicious person was reported. Police attended and could not locate the individual.

June 26

12:18 a.m. A loud party was reported on the 400 block of 12th Avenue South.

12:29 a.m. A caller requested the removal of an unwanted guest.

1:42 a.m. A possible impaired driver was reported. Police located the vehicle which was empty and remained parked for the night.

3:46 a.m. An intoxicated male was reported on the 200 block of 11th Avenue South. When police arrived he was heading into his residence to go to bed.

4:21 a.m. An intoxicated male was reported on Mission Road. Police attended, arrested the person and lodged him in a cell until he was sober.

6:51 a.m. A suspicious occurrence was reported on the 100 block of Mission Crescent. An individual believed there was movement in a mobile home that should be vacant. Police attended and found that renovations were taking place at the property.

12:26 p.m. Report of a dog being stolen from the 1200 block of 2nd Avenue South. The dog is a golden retriever collie cross, wearing a red collar.

3:04 p.m. Report of a possible impaired driver. Police located the driver and found he had not been consuming alcohol. Officer believe age was a contributing factor.

5:26 p.m. The hospital called for assistance in finding a patient that had walked away.

6:47 p.m. A theft was reported on the 700 block of 11th Avenue South. The theft likely occurred a few nights earlier.

7:45 p.m. A potentially suicidal male was reported. The male was located and taken to hospital. There he was determined to be intoxicated and was taken and lodge in a cell until he was sober.

7:48 p.m. A two vehicle accident occurred on Highway 95A near Wycliffe.

7:55 p.m. An accident was reported on Monroe Lake Road.

8:26 p.m. A vehicle hit a deer.

10:23 p.m. A possible impaired driver was called in. No licence plate was provided and police could not locate the vehicle.

11:32 p.m. A caller reported an attempted theft from a shed in the 700 block of 22nd Avenue North.

11:35 p.m. Report of a loud party in the 1000 block of 21st Avenue North.

June 27

2:18 a.m. An intoxicated individual was located behind the RCMP building and lodged in a cell until sober.

7:45 a.m. Report of harassment.

8:38 a.m. Security at the airport reported that they had discovered a potential weapon, a dagger, in a passenger’s carry on bag. The weapon was seized.

11:55 a.m. Police were asked to perform a wellbeing check on a local individual. Police located the individual, who was fine.

12:56 p.m. A disturbance was heard on the 1000 block of 27th Avenue North.

8:19 p.m. Report of trespassers on the railroad tracks.

11:28 p.m. A caller reported possible cruelty to animals.

June 28

1:40 a.m. A loud party was reported on Kahn Road.

3:38 a.m. A local convenience store reported an unwanted patron.

5:53 a.m. Three dogs were reported on the highway near Ha Ha Creek Road.

5:59 a.m. Two horses were reported on the highway. The horses likely escaped.

9:20 a.m. A hit and run was reported on the 500 block of Van Horne Street South.

2:29 pm. Theft of a gas tank was was reported.

4:40 p.m. An potentially intoxicated male was seen on 1st Street and 12th Avenue South.

4:58 p.m. A two vehicle collision occurred. Minor injuries were reported.

8:34 p.m. An officer on patrol issued a driver with a three day Immediate Roadside Prohibition for consuming alcohol.

9:37 p.m. A caller reported hearing gunshots in a rural area. Police attended and found it was some individuals doing target practice and were shooting in a safe direction.
