The Williams Lake RCMP are actively investigating a report of assault in the area of Rowat Road above Broadway Avenue South that happened mid-January.
The victim was taking his garbage out when he saw an older model pickup truck, possibly a Ford, run into a power pole, the RCMP said in a press release.
When the male confronted the driver of the truck, he was assaulted by the driver and a passenger.
