News broke today that the provincial government plans to increase the fines for distracted driving.

Two distracted driving tickets in three years could cost you $2,000, following the announcement from Attorney General David Eby today.

With distracted driving accounting for one-quarter of all crashes and 78 deaths a year in B.C., virtually everyone is in favour with the changes.

However, some people believe it’s not enough.
