There was a slight improvement in North Okanagan real estate activity in April.
There were 140 property sales last month, up 2.9 per cent from 136 in April 2012.
Total residential sales for the month rose 5.7 per cent from 123 to 130 units. Single-family home sales were down 13.3 per cent to 72 units compared to 83 last year at this time.
The Okanagan Mainlne Real Estate Board reports that year-to-date, North Okanagan sales are down 10.9 per cent compared to the first four months of 2012 (from 423 to 377 units).
