The Regional District of Central Okanagan will hold a series of information open houses for residents in the Central Okanagan East and Central Okanagan West electoral areas.
Representatives from a number of RDCO departments will be on hand at each event with information and to answer questions residents have in areas such as budgets and financial plans, waste reduction and updating the region’s solid waste management plan, parks and water systems.
Each session runs from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on the following dates and locations:
Monday, October 17
Killiney Beach Community Hall – 516 Udell Road
Wednesday, October 19
Peachland Community Centre – 4450 6th Street
Tuesday, October 25
Joe Rich Community Hall – 11481 Highway 33 east
Wednesday, November 2
Ellison Heritage School Community Hall – 4411 Old Vernon Road
“These informal sessions are a great opportunity for residents to meet face to face with RDCO staff and learn more about the wide variety of programs and services provided,” said RDCO communications officer Bruce Smit.
“Similar information meetings held in the spring last year were very well attended and residents really appreciated the chance to personally connect with staff. During these Information open houses we’re also specifically looking for comments and feedback as we update our solid waste management Plan for the Central Okanagan.”
