Tree Songs Holistics is a new business that started up in October, 2010.

“I provide complementary holistic services for relaxation, promoting physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being,” says owner Debbie Plante.

“These services include acutonics sound healing with tuning forks, flower essence consultations, and reiki.”

As far as she knows, Tree Song Holistics is the only full-time sound healing practice in the Cariboo Chilcotin.

“After many years of working for forestry consultants and various government jobs, I decided to just go for it and follow my heart,” she says.

“It’s time to turn my hobby into a reality — to live my dream.”

Her clients’ well-being and comfort come first, Plante says of her business philosophy. She says all treatments are done with love and respect.

“Sound healing is like a deep massage at the molecular level.”

When not at Tree Songs Holistics, Plante enjoys spending as much time with nature as possible. She hikes, gardens, cross-country skis, and makes wild crafts and flower essences.

Tree Songs Holistics is located at the Hobbit House at 71 First Ave. South and is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
