The Grand Forks Relay for Life took place today (Saturday) at James Donaldson Park.
After a warm-up by the Jazzercise group, the survivors took to the field dressed in the trademark yellow shirts for the survivor’s victory lap.
Following a performance by Jonah Rocks, about eight brave people including several women had their heads shaved with some donating hair for wigs.
Music will be playing all day at the main stage with bands like Three Yards with Damian Albas, Maddog 20/20 and Carson Highway coming up.
The evening wraps up with the annual luminary ceremony where attendees purchase a luminary to remember a loved one.
