Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 89 calls for service from November 25th, 8 a.m. till November 28th, 8 a.m.
During the same time period, 18 people were lodged in Terrace cells – 14 of these people were lodged for intoxication.
Here are some of the calls responded to:
Breach of a no contact condition. Under investigation.
Belligerent shoplifter at Save On Foods. Police arrested the intoxicated man. He is banned from the store.
Domestic assault. A man suffered a minor injury. Police arrested a 24-year-old woman. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.
A white Ford F150 bumped into a red Toyota Yaris on Lakelse Ave. while parking. The 50-year-old driver of the Ford provided samples of breath into a roadside screening device that resulted in fails. He was issued an Immediate Roadside Prohibition and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.
Suicidal person. Police apprehended the person under the Mental Health Act and he was transported to Mills Memorial Hospital for assessment.
Domestic assault at the Northern. Police arrested a 33-year-old man. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.
Domestic assault. A woman suffered minor injuries. Police arrested a 24-year-old man. He was also in breach of no consume alcohol conditions. He is held for court.
A Super Cycle mountain bike was found in the bushes near the trails on Spring Creek Dr.
A Chevrolet Silverado and a Toyota Tacoma collided at Lazelle Ave./Munroe St. No injuries. Both vehicles were towed.
A Chevrolet Cobalt lost control, hit the ditch, and rolled on Hwy 16 near Big Oliver Creek. Minor injuries. The vehicle was towed.
Break and enter to a business on Hwy 16 west. RC cars were stolen.
Disturbance at a motel. Police arrested an intoxicated woman. She attempted to kick a police officer and spit on two members.
A grey Chevrolet Silverado was pulled over on Thornhill Frontage Rd. The 61-year-old driver provided samples of breath into a roadside screening device that resulted in a warn. He was issued an Immediate Roadside Prohibition and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.
A green Chevrolet Cavalier hit the ditch on Hwy 113 near Kalum Lake. Minor damage to the vehicle. Unknown injuries.
