Shots were fired in South Langley on Monday night, but it doesn’t appear anyone was hit, said Langley RCMP.
Residents in the 21000 block of 2nd Avenue called police around midnight after shots rang out in their neighbourhood.
Langley RCMP attended and found shell casings in the area, but no suspects or victims were located, confirmed Langley RCMP spokesperson Const. Craig van Herk.
Police did find a vehicle parked in the driveway of a home with a flat tire that may have been shot out by a bullet, but that hasn’t been confirmed, said van Herk.
There are no people living in that area who are known to police so it’s unclear what or who may have been the target of the shooting, said van Herk.
Anyone with information for police is asked to call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
