Hope Search and Rescue rescued three people from a single vehicle crash Thursday, June 29, where two people were trapped inside the vehicle and one ejected.
The vehicle went down a 100 foot (30.5 metre) embankment near Boston Bar, search and rescue stated on Facebook at 10:46 p.m. June 28. Six rescuers worked to bring the three people to safety, one was transported by ambulance and the other two were ‘walking patients’ said search and rescue manager Mario Levesque.
“We got the individuals back up the hill there. She was down a little ways and we got her up, to the ambulance,” Levesque said Friday morning.
Hope Search and Rescue attended the car crash during an ongoing search operation for a missing Cessna 182 with two onboard. As of noon June 29, the aircraft has not been located and the search is ongoing.
