The Williams Lake RCMP are looking for information after a Second Avenue residence received four shots to windows from a pellet gun Saturday.
Police responded to a complaint from the residence on March 29 at around 6 :46 p.m.
Upon investigation they observed a front window had two holes in it.
“The pellets only penetrated the first pane,” the RCMP said in a press release Monday. “The sliding door also had two holes from another two shots. It appeared to be from directly in front of the house and may have been a drive-by shooting.”
While the incident appears to be random and the resident was not targeted, anyone with information is asked to contact the Williams Lake RCMP or call Crimestoppers.
The RCMP also said during the weekend the detachment responded to approximately 110 calls for service.
Most were routine in nature, and included disturbances, motor vehicle incidents, alcohol and drug related calls and assistances to public.
