The facility holds up to 160 people and also includes a private lounge area with a fire feature and a panoramic view of the golf course.

The facility has been open since June 1, and has already hosted a wedding.

“We had NHLPA here for their big event, we had MJT, which is Maple Leaf Jewelry Tour, for their big event. It’ll be in high demand,” said director of business development Ingrid Dilschneider.

The addition also features a newly upgraded kitchen, specifically dedicated to serving the banquet facility.

They also plan on hosting cooking classes. The kitchen will feature local products from around the Okanagan.

It follows the same line as the Range Lounge and Grill, “fresh, local, better” said Dilschneider.

Renovations started in October and cost $3 million.

The restaurant also features a new 135-seat patio.

“We didn’t have banquet space before so we were always displacing everybody out at the clubhouse, the restaurant, we would have to displace them. Now we don’t have to use the Range restaurant as a banquet space.”

The 3,000 square-foot addition also encourages off-season business, she said.

Up to three groups can be hosted individually within the space.
