Langley RCMP seized a loaded sawed-off rifle and a stolen truck after they caught three people breaking into the Bottle Depot in Aldergrove on Monday (Feb. 9).

Early in the morning, Langley RCMP was called to a break and enter in progress at the bottle depot where the live feed showed two or three suspects inside, said Cpl. Holly Marks.

Officers were on scene quickly and observed a Ford F350 backed in towards the fence with three people inside.  They were immediately arrested.

A query of the vehicle showed the plates belonged on another truck and this truck was in fact stolen, said Marks.

A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of a sawed-off rifle with a round of ammunition jammed in the chamber, as well as several additional rounds.

Two Langley men, ages 28 and 32, and a 25-year-old woman of no fixed address were held overnight and appeared in court on Tuesday.
