Road conditions will require cautious driving; weather mild with chance of snow

Motorists will have to drive to road conditions - slush, compact snow, slippery sections and limited visibility

Motorists will need to be cautious if they travelling in the Quesnel area and both north and south on Highway 97.

According to Drive BC, there are going to be slippery sections going north and compact snow and slippery sections from Stoner to Prince George.

Driving south there will compact snow and slippery sections 22 kilometres north of Williams Lake and down to Lac la Hache.

There could be limited visibility from blowing snow around Lac la Hache, and down through 100 Mile House along with compact snow and slippery sections.

Then down to Clinton, there will be a mixed bag of fog and compact snow.

There will be slushy sections from Cache Creek to Kamloops.

there will also be slushy sections and compact snow from Cache Creek to Spences Bridge and through to Jackass Mountain Summit.

Weather conditions

Quesnel residents can expect a high of 1 C with a 40 per cent chance of flurries today with wind becoming southeast at 20 km/h around noon, according to Environment Canada.

It will be cloudy tonight with snow (2 to 4 cm) beginning at midnight, with a low of -4 tonight.

Tomorrow will be cloudy with a high of zero and a 40 per cent chance of flurries during the day. Tomorrow night will and -6 C at night with a 40 per cent chance of flurries
