Rogers ‘enhances’ wireless in Qualicum Beach

Announcement part of a multi-year national network plan

Rogers and Fido customers in Qualicum Beach can hope to expect “faster, more reliable and consistent wireless experience than ever before.”

Rogers announced Thursday, July 26 that it would be enhancing wireless service in Qualicum Beach.

“Our customers want high quality wireless access wherever they are, whether it’s working on the go, staying connected while strolling down the beach along Salish Sea, or even just using their device in their own backyard,” said Rick Sellers, presidents at Rogers Communications British Columbia.

The Qualicum Beach announcement is one of several in the province with Rogers wireless investments across Vancouver Island, Tsawwassen Mills mall, Abbotsford, Kelowna and the full Sky Train system.

The local network enhancements are also part of a multi-year national network plan “to bring next generation wireless service to Canadians” which was announced in April of this year as part of a partnership between Rogers and Ericsson.
