Council gave final approval to a bylaw amendment allowing for the parking of recreational vehicles on residential properties.

“I think overwhelmingly we heard from residents who felt that parking of RVs… in front yards and on driveways and beside houses should be an acceptable practice in the city…,” commented Coun. Alan Harrison.

The amendment allows the same for boat trailers and wrecked vehicles, the latter being limited to 31 days.
