Saanich is hosting a series of public feedback events on the potential short-term transportation options to improve the Shelbourne Street corridor.

Saanich staff will be available to the public on Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Gordon Head Recreation Centre, Wednesday (March 2) from 4 to 8 p.m. at St. Aidan’s Church and Saturday (March 5) from 2 to 6 p.m. at Cedar Hill Recreation Centre.

In particular, the options will focus on cyclists and pedestrians as priorities.

Council will use the feedback received from the public to help them decide which short-term action to implement and incorporate into a final Shelbourne Valley Action Plan. The SVAP will guide land use and transportation decisions over the next 30 years.
