Saanich Police seek sexual predator after Quadra attack

A Saanich woman in her early 20s walking on Quadra at 12:30 a.m. July 18 when she was grabbed from behind and forced into a nearby yard.

Saanich Police detectives are investigating a sexual assault from 12:30 a.m. on Friday, July 18, in the 3600-block of Quadra St. between Falmouth Road and Tattersall Drive in Saanich.

A Saanich woman in her early 20s was walking on the west side of Quadra when she was grabbed from behind and forced into a nearby yard.

The woman sustained minor injuries. She is working with detectives and was able to provide the following description of her attacker.

The male is approximately 5-foot-10 to 6-foot tall, 25 to 45 years old, wearing all black clothing. His face was covered and he was wearing a brimmed hat.
