Salmon Arm RCMP members conducted a search of a residence in the 1300 block of Highway 97B on Wednesday and found a host of packaged drugs.
As part of an ongoing investigation, police obtained a search warrant and, once inside the home, discovered quantities of cocaine, morphine and MDMA packaged for sale. A sawed-off shotgun was also seized.
A 49-year-old Salmon Arm man was arrested and faces drug trafficking charges. His identity has not yet been released as criminal charges have not yet been formally approved by Crown counsel.
