The gate attendants were barely able to keep up with the crowd count Saturday as fairgoers came out in large numbers.
“Our attendance yesterday [Saturday] was 27,841. This gives us a total of 77,938 (this is a rough estimate of attendance. We believe there were many more each day but this is the number reported by the gate attendants each day. We know we haven’t captured 100 per cent of the people coming through the dates,” said Yvonne Paulson, general manager of the Armstrong Interior Provincial Exhibition.
