Scott Ave. ruckus leads to arrest

Over the past 24 hours these are some of the events requiring the presence of the Terrace RCMP:

Downtown Terrace

- a person had $150 go missing from their wallet when they set it down to try on some clothing in a business

Over the past 24 hours these are some of the events requiring the presence of the Terrace RCMP:

Downtown Terrace

– a person had $150 go missing from their wallet when they set it down to try on some clothing in a business

– police attended to a public verbal argument between two sisters and a mother on the 4700 block of Lazelle Ave. They moved indoors.

– complaint received of male passed out on Lakelse Ave and Sparks St

– threats made against a person

– female was arrested for public intoxication on Lakelse Ave near the old bridge

– a male and female were arrested for public intoxication on Greig Ave. Due to their wet condition, ambulance took them to the hospital as a preventative measure against hypothermia

Elsewhere in Terrace

– domestic dispute on Braun St. A male was arrested and charges will be forwarded

– police assisted the hospital with an irrational youth patient

– fight between two males on Little Ave. Three intoxicated people were seperated.

– theft of a WII gaming system from a home on Kalum St

– a silver Nissan pickup was observed to crash into a tree on Eby St, then drive off on Halliwell

– complaint received of a taxi cab almost hitting a pedestrian in a parking lot on Pear St.

– a red Toyota pickup was observed to drive down the grassy hill at the arena and enter traffic unsafely

– suspicious male on Thomas St and Halliwell

– A male was arrested for public intoxication at Mills Memorial Hospital.

– police attended to a disturbance on Scott Ave. A male had assaulted another male, causing a minor injury. When a police officer approached the male, he slammed a door on him, and then threw a beer can at the police officer. Police had to physically restrain the assailant before he hurt anyone. He was arrested for assault.

Thornhill

– a female verbally threatened another female who owed her money on Queensway Dr

– complaint of a teenager refusing to go home
