The search is on for a Revelstoke man who was reported missing earlier this week.
Scott Grady was reported missing by his brother Thursday morning, RCMP said. Grady left Revelstoke Wednesday morning on his way to Nelson, and he was reported missing when he did not show up there.
On Thursday at around 4:30 p.m., Revelstoke RCMP found Grady’s Toyota Tacoma pickup truck on Townley Road near Track Street. Much of his personal belongings were found in the truck and an immediate search of the area was started, with no results.
Friday morning, Revelstoke Search & Rescue started a search for Grady along the CPR Hill trails, all the way to the industrial park. About a dozen searchers were divided into teams to search the area.
Grady is described as a white male, 40 years old, six-feet tall, about 80 kilograms, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Foul play is not suspected, said Staff-Sgt. Kurt Grabinsky.
Revelstoke RCMP are asking anyone that has seen or heard from Grady to contact them at 250-837-5255 or call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
