Semi truck fire shut down eastbound Highway One for an hour

A semi caught fire just at the 232 Street overpass around 3 p.m. on Monday, shutting that whole area down. It is now re-opened.

The freeway eastbound near the 232 Street exit was shut down for an hour while firefighters dealt with a semi truck on fire on Monday afternoon.

A semi-truck trailer caught fire and flames were reported to be shooting higher than the 232 Street overpass.

The eastbound lanes of Highway One are closed as firefighters deal with the blaze.

A roll over crash took place right after in the same location. Traffic is backed up well into 200 Street.
