Send condolences to Johannesburg

NANAIMO – B.C. government creates book of condolences for public to sign.

People wishing to express their condolences following the death of Nelson Mandela can sign a book of condolences created by the B.C. government intergovernmental relations secretariat.

Mandela, former president of the Republic of South Africa, died Thursday at his home in Johannesburg.

People can sign the Condolence Book for His Excellency Nelson Mandela online at www.protocol.gov.bc.ca or in person at the B.C. parliament buildings in Victoria, Monday to Friday (Dec. 9-13, 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.).
