The Trans-Canada Highway was closed eight kilometres east of Sorrento at Hilltop Road for a serious three-vehicle collision, but now has been opened to single lane traffic.
A medevac helicopter was called in, as well as multiple ambulances.
Members of the Shuswap Fire Department were also called to the scene.
