Serious injuries in Highway 7 crash involving two motorcyclists

Reports of helicopters, ambulances on scene

A crash involving two motorcycles on Highway 7 between Dewdney and Deroche has completely halted both east and west bound traffic at Waring Road while emergency crews attend the scene.

Mission RCMP spokesperson Staff Sgt. Steve Crawford told Black Press there is serious injuries and Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICAR) is assisting with an investigation on scene. RCMP Fraser Valley Traffic Services was also requested to attend.

The collision occurred around 5 p.m., and has closed Lougheed Highway until further notice.

Traffic is being diverted at this time.
