A sanitary main running underneath lower Third just before Dunbar Street sprung a leak early in the afternoon on Friday, Feb. 13.
Utility works crew member Brian Povey said that the leak happened “right where the steel [pipe] meets the asbestos clay… so we just sealed it in concrete.”
The leak is from the force main at the Argyle Street pumpstation, Povey added.
