Comox Valley Pride hosted a picnic Sunday at Marina Park in Comox. A dance the previous night began a Pride Weekend that in the past attracted about 150 people from the Comox Valley, Port Alberni, Nanaimo and Victoria. The picnic was the 13th annual event of its kind in the Comox Valley. Pride Weekend is primarily an opportunity for local members of the pride community to connect and socialize.
