Peninsula based Royal LePage by the Sea recently sold their 200th oceanfront property since the company’s inception in 1996.
The 200th property to sell, located on Tryon Road in North Saanich, went for a cool $2.65 million. Two other properties currently for sale on Tryon Road are listed at $1.58 million and $2.8 million.
“In recent days we have seen a dramatic increase in activity associated with our high-end listings, [which gives] us much optimism as we move into the second half of [the year],” said Jean Dunn, owner and real estate agent of Royal LePage by the Sea, which specializes in high-end real estate but also carry an inventory of condos, townhouses and homes in the area.
The Peninsula is home to some of the most expensive homes for sale in Greater Victoria.
According to the Multiple Listing Service, there are currently 77 properties on the Saanich Peninsula for sale for more than $1 million. The most expensive property listed on the Peninsula is on West Saanich Road in North Saanich, overlooking Patricia Bay for $12.9 million.
