Sixty six single family homes sold in the Parksville Qualicum Beach region in July at an average price of $609,281— an 18 per cent price increase from a year ago.
Also sold were 11 waterfront homes, one lot and 21 condos. The average condo sold for $392,696. Condo unit sales were down 25 per cent with an average of 34 days to sell.
Single-family unit sales volume was down by 19 per cent with an average of 25 days on the market.
Lot sales volume was down by 45 per cent and prices have increased by five per cent over the last year. The average cost of a lot sale in July was $253,783.
The most active region was Parksville with 19 sales and the highest average price was in Qualicum Beach at $777,989.
Bowser saw two single-family homes sell in July at an average price of $690,000. Nine single-family homes sold in French Creek with an average price of $499,944. Five Single-family homes sold in the Errington, Coombs, Hilliers region with an average price of $636,580.
Nanoose saw six single-family homes sell at an average price of $628,588 and three in Fairwinds at an average price of $698,367.
