Sketch shows Langley flashing suspect

A man spotted wandering while naked is sought by police.

Police have released a sketch of a man who exposed himself to pedestrians last summer in the Willowbrook area of Langley.

On June 7, just after midnight, the Langley RCMP received a report of a man who exposed himself to a passing pedestrian.

The man was walking along 64th Avenue near Wal-Mart, carrying a black bag, said Cpl. Holly Largy, spokesperson for the Langley RCMP.

The Mounties patrolled the area looking for the man but didn’t find him.

The victim was interviewed, and described the suspect as in his 20s, about 5’9” tall, with a regular build, clean shaven, with short light brown or reddish hair and large eyes.

Half an hour later, police received a call about a naked man near the Willowbrook Dairy Queen near 200th Street and the Langley Bypass.

The description of the naked man was similar to that of the man in the first incident, said Largy.

In neither incident did the suspect attempt to approach or touch the victims.

The delay in getting a full description and sketch was partly caused by a language barrier, said Largy.

Investigators are now hoping that someone can identify the man in the sketch and identify the suspect.
