On Sept. 7 at 4:29 am police received a report of a major rockslide on Hwy 1 about 20 km east of Cache Creek near Juniper Ridge Provincial Park.
The slide closed both lanes of the highway and contained rocks three to four feet in diameter. Interior Roads attended and cleared off the highway.
There were no reports of injuries or damage. Weather conditions at the time were dry and calm.
