Coldest Night of the Year is a fundraiser that takes place annually across Canada on Saturday, Feb. 25. This is the first year the event has come to the Alberni Valley.
Coldest Night of the Year participants begin the fundraiser walk on Saturday, Feb. 25 from North Island College in Port Alberni.

Participants could choose between a 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km walk to raise funds for Alberni Community and Women’s Services Society.
