There are going to be a lot of happy campers going to the Lions Club's Easter Seal camps this summer

As of press-time, with pledges still coming in, a Snowarama drag race event held Saturday, March 3, had raised over $19,000 to send youngsters to the Lions Club’s Easter Seal camps for disabled children.

There were over 600 spectators plus 64 racers with 118 entries in the drag races. The event was held in the field next to Raft River Elementary School. Clearwater’s Brett Turcotte, a double gold medallist at the X Games, took a lead role in organizing and promoting the event.
