Good weather brought out the crowds for the first full day of the Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair on Saturday. Sunday’s good weather: Not so much.
The family-friendly event continues into Monday on the holiday long weekend.
The Cloverdale Rodeo is one of B.C.’s biggest attractions, drawing 80,000 visitors to the fairgrounds each year, including 20,000 rodeo spectators.
The invitation-only competition attracts the world’s top-ranked cowboys and cowgirls, who participate in bareback, saddle bronc, bull riding and ladies’ barrel racing events.
