There will probably be no access to the Saywell Park docks during the winter.
“We need to seriously look at closing the dock because it’s slippery and you can’t put salt or sand on it,” said Lake Cowichan town works superintendent Nagy Rizk at a recent public works committee meeting.
“I’m just worried about people slipping. If you see it’s closed, you’ll know why.”
