Small engines don’t mix with ethanol fuels

Small engine users cautioned about new gasoline with ethanol

Now that most gasoline pumps are carrying fuel containing 10 per cent ethanol, a local small-equipment retailer and some fill-up stations are reminding people not to use it in small engines.

Prolonged use in chainsaws, snowmobiles and other gasoline-fired equipment can be harmful and affect operation.
